British Airways is now adding to that variety of options on offer. From next summer, UK residents can add the Azores to their destinations.
Flights will start from July 2022
According to a British Airways press release, the airline will be adding scheduled flights from London Heathrow to São Miguel and Terceira. These will be weekly flights that will operate on weekends. The flights to São Miguel will operate on Saturdays, from the 2nd of July until the 3rd of September and the flights to Terceira will operate on Sundays, from the 10th of July to the 28th of August. The press release also mentions the flights have very flexible booking terms, so it’s always possible to reschedule should travel regulations change.
